Hacoa LongTray Sumimaru & Module Tray

Every month there is a package arriving straight from Japan with some Hacoa goodies! This month, I decided to order a LongTray Sumimaru out of alder wood and a Module Tray out of ash wood! Oh, I also added a cherry Bookmark…

All three are abosultely beautiful and I have to admit that I really like cherry! Hm, for sure I will opt for this wood in the future…

nanoblock Milky Peko-chan

Yet another nanoblock set has been built! This time I decided to built the Milky Peko-chan set, a limited one released last December. Peko-chan, a well-known marketing icon in Japan, is Fujiya’s mascot, a company offering many great candy and confectionary products, while being famous for its milk candy.

The Milkty Peko-chan set consists of approximately 360 pieces and although it’s not the most difficult set I have came across so far, building the head was a bit challenging. I really like the colours of this set and it is nice that it comes with quite a few spare bricks :-)

Lego CUUSOO Hayabusa

This set has nothing to do with Japanese products or any kind of craftmanship, but it fits nicely with my nanoblock collection and in particular with the Space Center deluxe set (earlier post)!

Lego parts look massive compared to the tiny nanoblock bricks, but it's a nice set to have. It is a CUUSOO set, represening the JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) asteroid explorer Hayabusa, and it came straight from Japan... as usual.

Building it was not a thrill and althought the result looks good, nanoblock sets are much more challenging and feel more mature!

nanoXEVIOUS Solvalou

This is an exclusive/limited nanoblock set! The Solvalou is a combat aircraft part of the Xevious archade game. Xevious was released back in 1983 by Namco! The actual set is super easy to build and it consists of over 100 pieces.

nanoblock Zero Fighter

The Zero Fighter set consists of over 450 pieces and  I am pretty sure that it will look very nice next to the Yamato battleship!
